Terms and Conditions for Participation in the Volunteer Curriculum Development Program (CDP):
Voluntary Participation:Participation in the Curriculum Development Program (CDP) is voluntary and participants are not entitled to any financial compensation or benefits.
Data Accuracy and Integrity:Subject Matter Experts (SME's) are expected to provide accurate and truthful information regarding their expertise, experiences, and insights relevant to curriculum development. Falsification or misrepresentation of data may result in inaccuracies while compiling and analyzing the data.
Privacy and Confidentiality:The Intercontinental Baccalaureate of Secondary Education (ICBSE) respects the privacy of all Subject Matter Experts. Personal information collected during the registration process will be used solely for communication purposes related to the CDP. The ICBSE is committed to safeguarding this information and will not disclose it to any third party without explicit consent from the Subject Matter Expert.
Intellectual Property Rights:Volunteers retain intellectual property rights to any contributions, ideas, or materials shared during the program. However, Subject Matter Experts grant the ICBSE a non-exclusive license to use and reproduce these contributions for curriculum development purposes.
Professional Conduct:Volunteers are expected to engage in the Curriculum Development Program (CDP) with professionalism, mutual respect, and collegiality. Any behavior deemed disruptive, disrespectful, or detrimental to the collaborative process may result in termination of Subject Matter Expert status.
Modification of Terms: The Intercontinental Baccalaureate of Secondary Education (ICBSE) reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time. Volunteers will be notified of any changes, and continued participation in the Curriculum Development Program (CDP) implies acceptance of the revised terms.
By participating in the Volunteer Curriculum Development Program (CDP) by the Intercontinental Baccalaureate of Secondary Education (ICBSE), Subject Matter Experts agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms may result in termination of Subject Matter Expert status and other appropriate actions as deemed necessary by the ICBSE.
